Are you one of our readers that enjoys ‘old-school’ music? As in music that was played on the American frontier more than two hundred years ago? If so, you’re not gonna want to miss your chance to catch Christian Wig this Thursday evening at the Buchanan Log House in Nashville, TN.
Christian is an exceptional old time fiddle player who specializes in Revolutionary War era tunes. Anyone who wishes to gain historical insight into pre-recording industry American music is strongly encouraged to attend. The performance is sponsored by our friends at the Nashville Old Time String Band Association, is free and open to the public.
The Buchanan Log House is at 2910 Elm Hill Pike, Nashville, TN 37214. If you decide to attend, please park on the front lawn Designated Parking Area with your car facing Elm Hill Pike. About 50 cars can fit in the area between the Log House sign and the corner of the lot on the west side of the drive. If the front lawn is full, parking is available on the left shoulder of Hurt Drive as well as on the lawn at the rear of Log House.
