Hi folks, I hope everyone is enjoying their day!
For those of you who live in Nashville looking for something to do tonight prior to the Old Time Jam, may I suggest NO SHAME THEATER.
No Shame is a free-for-all, no-holds-barred mish mash of entertainment. You see folks, No Shame is the theatrical equivalent of an songwriters open mic night. We’d love for you to not just attend, but also participate! It’s quite simple:
1) You create 100 % original material that is theatrical in nature
2) Keep in under 5 minutes, and
3) Don’t break anything (that includes laws, yourself, the stage, etc)
That’s it! Anyone can do it! Did you see something hilarious at the grocery store that would make a good scene? Bring it! Looking to try out your literary reading/stand up comedy on an audience? Bring it! What about that old ventriloquism act you stopped performing in the 40′s? BRING IT!
When: TONIGHT, June 29th at 8pm
Where: The Building/Billups in 5 points East Nashville 1008C Woodland St.
How much: FREE for performers, 5$ for spectators
Beer: YES! Provided by local beer craftsman Nashvillion Beer, we will be offering an 8$ bottomless cup. I hear the boys at Nashvillion will be bringing 3 kinds of beer for you to try, so come thirsty, my friends!
Our first show last month almost sold out, so you may want to get there early (especially if you’d like to perform). If you have questions, simply leave a comment at the bottom of this page, or join our facebook group page.
If you can’t make it, I’ll see you at the Jam afterward!
